About Invictus Pool Plastering

When a homeowner calls us, we start by asking what they see: cracks, staining, rough spots, water loss. We ask about the age of the pool and what finish is on it now. If the plaster is delaminating or the tile is loose, we tell them what that means for the job. We do not quote over the phone. We come out, look at the shell, check the bond beam, tap the tile to see what is hollow, and note any coping that is shifting. Then we talk through the options: quartz, pebble, or standard plaster, and what each costs in labor and material. We give a written quote that lists the scope and the finish. No surprises.

The work itself comes down to preparation and mix. We chip out old plaster down to the gunite shell, no shortcuts. If the tile is coming off, we pull it and replace it with a frost-proof porcelain that will not pop. The new plaster goes on in a consistent thickness, not a skim coat that will craze in a year. For pebble finishes we use a blend of natural aggregate and white cement, troweled in and washed down to expose the stone evenly. Quartz finishes get a smooth, dense surface that resists staining. The difference between a finish that lasts fifteen years and one that fails in five is in the bond, the water ratio, and the cure. We take that seriously.

Our work standards

Renovation work done properly

We work at the customer's home, so we treat the property like it is our own. The crew backs the truck in, lays down plywood or drop cloths over the deck and any landscaping that is in the path. We keep the noise to the work hours that make sense for the neighborhood. Plastering is a wet trade, so we wash down as we go and keep the slurry from running onto the lawn or into the pool equipment. At the end of each day we haul out the debris, the empty bags, the tape, and the buckets. When the job is done, the only thing left is a clean pool with a new finish and a stack of tile that matches the original.

What You Get, Every Job

After the pour, we fill the pool and start the cure. We leave the customer with a written care sheet: how to brush, when to run the pump, what chemicals to avoid for the first thirty days. If a question comes up, the same person who quoted the job picks up the phone. We do not hand you off to a voicemail or a dispatch. We know that a pool is a big investment and that the people who pay for it want to know what is happening. We answer straight, we show up when we say we will, and we finish what we start. That is how we think about every homeowner we work for.
