Local service

Proudly serving Buda

Buda's housing stock runs from newer subdivisions on the eastern side to older ranch-style homes along the I-35 corridor. The limestone-rich soil and hot, humid summers put real stress on pool plaster, with efflorescence and surface etching showing up sooner than in milder climates. Many properties sit on sloped lots that drain toward the creek beds, so water management around the pool deck matters during heavy rains. The town has grown fast, and the mix of custom homes and production builds means we see everything from basic white plaster to elaborate pebble and quartz finishes.

Our crew loads the truck each morning in San Marcos and heads north on I-35. Buda is a quick fifteen-minute drive, so we can be on site early and stay until the work is buttoned up. We set up tarps and containment around the pool area, run hoses from the nearest spigot, and keep the driveway clear for the homeowner. Because we are close to home, we can run back for materials if something comes up. We clean the site each evening, haul away debris, and leave the yard in the same shape we found it.

IPP - Invictus Pool Plastering works across San Marcos, TX and the surrounding Hill Country, so a crew is never far from Buda. Call (512) 938-8093 or request a free estimate and we’ll come out and take a look.

Local demand

What Buda homeowners call us for

Pool Plastering

We apply white and colored plaster to pools across Buda's newer subdivisions, where the ground settles over time and a fresh coat seals the shell.

Pebble Finish

Pebble finishes hold up well against Buda's limestone groundwater and the heavy sun, giving a textured surface that stays cooler underfoot.

Quartz Plaster

Quartz plaster resists the staining from mineral-heavy well water common on Buda's larger lots, and it keeps its color through the hot summers.

Tile Repair & Replacement

We replace cracked or popped tiles along the waterline on Buda pools, matching the original pattern or switching to a frost-resistant tile for the freeze-thaw cycles.

Typical projects

The kind of work we take on in Buda

Full Plaster Resurface, Buda

Full Plaster Resurface

We drain the pool, chip out the old plaster, patch any cracks in the shell, and apply a new finish coat. The job takes a week from start to fill.

Pebble Finish Installation, Buda

Pebble Finish Installation

We mix the pebble aggregate with a white cement base, spray it onto the prepared shell, and hand-trowel it smooth. The surface is then washed to expose the aggregate.

Waterline Tile Replacement, Buda

Waterline Tile Replacement

We remove the old tile band, clean the bond beam, and set new tile in a thin-set mortar. The grout is matched to the existing deck color.

Where we work

Across Buda

I-35 Corridor

Homes along the interstate see more dust and road debris, so we seal the work area extra carefully. The driveways are often long and paved, giving us room to park the truck.

Old Town Buda

Older pools in the historic core have plaster that has been patched multiple times. We strip the old layers and apply a full-bonding plaster coat to bring them back.

Cimarron Hills

This large subdivision has many pools with raised spa features and rock waterfalls. We match the original pebble or quartz finish so the repair blends with the existing surface.

Before work starts

Permits & local rules in Buda

The City of Buda requires a building permit for any structural repair or resurface of an existing pool. Your contractor should pull the permit and schedule the inspections.

HOA Approval

Many subdivisions in Buda have architectural guidelines that cover pool finish colors and materials. Check with your HOA before starting to avoid a violation.

What San Marcos homeowners say

Did you know Invictus does roof patching as well as pools? Well, if you don't now you do. My business has a membrane roof with holes that were getting progressively worse. Mike and his team assessed the damage and gave a fair quote and their work stands up! Not a single leak even after that wild storm we had the other day. Highly recommend.

My wife and I are extremely pleased with Invictus Pool Plastering. Mike and his crew did a fantastic job on our pool renovation from start to finish. We chose the French Gray Reflections Quartz plaster and a multi colored blue tile and it looks amazing! The water sparkles when the sun hits it. Quality work at a great price.

Got a pebble finish from invictus, midnight blue finish, turned out so much better than I expected; that being said, the staff and employees were respectful, kind and very considerate. They were very fast and efficient and were even respectful to our neighbors.
