Local service

Proudly serving New Braunfels

New Braunfels sits on the Comal and Guadalupe rivers, and the high water table and limestone bedrock here affect how pool plaster holds up. The older neighborhoods near the river have pools that have been replastered several times, while the newer developments on the hillsides use pebble and quartz finishes that resist the mineral-heavy water. The weather is hot and humid from May through September, which accelerates plaster wear and algae growth. Many properties have mature trees that drop leaves and debris, so the pool surface needs to be durable enough to handle regular cleaning.

We drive south from San Marcos on I-35, about twenty minutes to the center of New Braunfels. The crew arrives with all the materials for the day, sets up containment around the pool, and runs hoses from the house. We work around the homeowner's schedule, keeping noise and dust down as much as possible. Because we are close to our base, we can handle any unexpected material needs without long delays. At the end of each day, we clean the site, bag the debris, and load it back on the truck for proper disposal.

Local demand

What New Braunfels homeowners call us for

Pool Plastering

New Braunfels pools near the river see more calcium scaling. We use a dense plaster mix that resists staining and holds up to the alkaline water.

Pebble Finish

Pebble finishes are popular on the hillside developments where the soil shifts. The aggregate surface hides minor cracks and stays textured through the freeze-thaw cycles.

Coping Repair

Coping stones on older New Braunfels pools often loosen from freeze-thaw. We reset or replace them with a matching stone or precast coping that seals the edge.

Tile Repair & Replacement

Waterline tiles in New Braunfels pools get etched by the river minerals. We replace them with a glazed tile that resists staining and keeps the pool looking clean.

Typical projects

The kind of work we take on in New Braunfels

Pool Resurface with Quartz, New Braunfels

Pool Resurface with Quartz

We drain the pool, chip out the old plaster, patch the shell, and apply a quartz finish. The quartz gives a smooth, stain-resistant surface that handles the local water chemistry.

Coping and Tile Refresh, New Braunfels

Coping and Tile Refresh

We remove loose coping stones, replace any cracked tile, and regrout the entire waterline. The new coping is set with a waterproof bond to prevent future shifting.

Pebble Finish Renovation, New Braunfels

Pebble Finish Renovation

We strip the existing finish, repair any surface cracks, and spray a new pebble aggregate. The finish is washed and sealed to expose the smooth pebbles.

Where we work

Across New Braunfels

Gruene Historic District

Pools in Gruene are often on older lots with limited access. We work around the narrow driveways and tight yards, hand-mixing materials when the truck cannot get close.

I-35 Frontage

The commercial and residential pools along the frontage roads see heavy sun exposure. We use a light-colored plaster or pebble to keep the water temperature manageable.

Lakeview Area

Properties near Canyon Lake have pools with raised decks and retaining walls. We coordinate the plaster work with the deck repair to keep the finish consistent.

Before work starts

Permits & local rules in New Braunfels

If your property is in the unincorporated county, the permit comes from Comal County. They may have different setback requirements for the equipment pad and pool edge.

Did you know Invictus does roof patching as well as pools? Well, if you don't now you do. My business has a membrane roof with holes that were getting progressively worse. Mike and his team assessed the damage and gave a fair quote and their work stands up! Not a single leak even after that wild storm we had the other day. Highly recommend.

My wife and I are extremely pleased with Invictus Pool Plastering. Mike and his crew did a fantastic job on our pool renovation from start to finish. We chose the French Gray Reflections Quartz plaster and a multi colored blue tile and it looks amazing! The water sparkles when the sun hits it. Quality work at a great price.

Got a pebble finish from invictus, midnight blue finish, turned out so much better than I expected; that being said, the staff and employees were respectful, kind and very considerate. They were very fast and efficient and were even respectful to our neighbors.
